NEWSPAPER RAIDED.

HONGKONG, Wednesday.-

Police to-day raided the

offices of the British-owned newspaper Sunday Herald

after the editor, Mr. Walter Keates had refused to name

the author of an article in last Sunday's edition.

The article alleged that Chinese girls were recently

sold by auction in Hong Kong for improper purposes.
